Zero Trust is Not Enough: Mitigating Data Repository Breaches

چکیده
Successful mission operations depend on the ability of an organization to collect, manage, analyze, and secure its data. Traditional network frameworks have become less appealing because they rely a “trust but verify” paradigm that does not stand up well against advanced tools techniques modern cyber attackers. The Zero Trust Framework has emerged as logical replacement unfortunately adequately address trustworthiness data in repositories. This broader view is important repositories arguably, most prominent means for sharing across many sectors around globe. Unfortunately, are also undergoing widespread malware attacks and, some cases, critical national security can be impacted. In this study, we propose potential framework relies more lineage, end-to-end metadata, use machine learning reduce possibly mitigate problems with Frameworks fail address.

When Trust Is Not Enough
The degree of trust that an agent has for another is the strength of the agent’s belief that the other will enact its commitments without variation. A strong sense of trust may be sufficient justification for one agent to sign a contract with another when all that matters is the possibility of variation between commitment and enactment. In non-trivial contracts the agents’ information is typica...
متن کاملIdentification and Privacy: Zero-Knowledge is not Enough
At rst glance, privacy and zero-knowledgeness seem to be similar properties. A scheme is private when no information is revealed on the prover and in a zero-knowledge scheme, communications should not leak provers' secrets. Until recently, privacy threats were only partially formalized and some zero-knowledge (ZK) schemes have been proposed so far to ensure privacy. We here explain why the inte...

Gode and Sunder's (1993) results from using \zero-intelligence" (zi) traders, that act randomly within a structured market, appear to imply that convergence to the theoretical equilibrium price in continuous double-auction markets is determined more by market structure than by the intelligence of the traders in that market. However, it is demonstrated here that the average transaction prices of...

Models of the untyped λ-calculus may be defined either as applicative structures satisfying a bunch of first order axioms, known as “λ-models”, or as (structures arising from) any reflexive object in a cartesian closed category (ccc, for brevity). These notions are tightly linked in the sense that: given a λ-model A, one may define a ccc in which A (the carrier set) is a reflexive object; conve...
